As the grocery industry changes before our eyes, the deli has remained relatively unchanged for nearly a century. Lowes Foods and Boar’s Head partnered to reinvent the deli experience for both guests and hosts. We were tasked to concept and design an innovative deli experience. The outcome was a witty 1900’s newspaper themed deli that brings back to life the craftsmanship, quality and community that existed in early 1900’s American news.

The new popcorn sub-brand is designed to have the flexibility to sell in-store and go out into the community for special events or fundraisers. The popcorn cart creates excitement, drives impulse purchases, and generate the delicious smell of popcorn. The happy, carefree design merges popcorn with poppy flowers, for an unexpected approach to popcorn cart branding.

It is clear consumers are spending more and more on-line and becoming accustomed to the convenience of shopping from home. There is an opportunity to raise awareness of Lowes Foods’ online shopping service through the in-store and curbside environment. The out of the box in store displays and other branded assets bring the energy of Lowes Foods into their To-Go service.
