Ithaca Hummus was looking for a way to further promote their flavor offerings. They wanted to encourage people to try different flavors and help people choose which flavor to try. We developed a quiz for consumers to take for their perfect Ithaca Hummus flavor pairing. Based on personality flavor pairing research and data, a series of fun questions guide them to their recommendation. The quiz lives on Ithaca Hummus’ website and has been distributed through social media.

Ithaca Hummus had a small, loyal fan base on social media but were finding it challenging to grow their fan base and to deepen engagement with current and potential customers. They expressed a desire to move beyond their status quo, which consisted of lower performing content built mainly around influencer reposts. Since the company was in an early stage of growth, paid media was not an option. With new packaging, a new flavor, and new store availability, Ithaca relies on it’s organic social media channels to spread the word. We were tasked to establish the brand’s voice by concept and implement a variety of content categories to drive awareness, increase followers, and encourage hummus lovers to choose Ithaca.

The Results: In only 2 months after launch, Ithaca Hummus set new records in terms of their social media performance building a larger and more engaged fan base.

Ithaca Hummus was in need of some literature that educated consumers on their company. We developed a postcard that they would be able to give out at demonstrations and events that quickly helped consumers to learn about the products and flavor offerings.
